Alarm Sensors By Honeywell

Motion Sensors DualTec

Honeywells line of Motion Sensors is unsurpassed in technology and function. With many features including Canine-Friendly Mode, you won't find a better sensor on the market.

There are two major types of motion sensing technology that is in use for alarm panels:

Passive infrared (PIR)
Passive infrared sensors detect a person's body heat as it changes against the background of the room. No energy is emitted from the sensor, thus the name "passive infrared" (PIR).
Sends out pulses of ultrasonic waves (acoustic sound waves above the frequency that a human can hear) and measures the reflection off a moving object. Motion causes the frequency of the reflected wave to change (Doppler effect).

Smoke Detectors 5800 Series

Honeywell’s 5806W3 is a 3V battery operated, photoelectronic smoke detector with a built-in wireless transmitter. It facilitates fire verification for false alarm reduction requirements by ANSI/SIA CP-01standards and is intended for use with any of Honeywell’s 5800 Series wireless receiver/transceivers for residential installations. The 5881ENHC or 5883H receivers are required for commercial installations.

The transmitter can send alarm, tamper, maintenance (when control panels are equipped to process maintenance signals) and battery condition messages to the system’s receiver. The maintenance signal fully complies with the sensitivity test requirement specified in NFPA 72, 7-2.2 and is UL approved.

Glassbreak Detector FlexCore

Honeywell’s 5853 Wireless Glassbreak Detector offers uncompromised performance and unmatched false alarm immunity. The FlexCoreTM signal processor utilizes an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) - processing sound data in parallel rather than sequentially. This permits sound frequency, duration and amplitude to be analyzed 50% faster to minimize false alarms while maintaining the highest possible level of detection.

Contact Sensors Rare Earth Magnets

Honeywell Security's sensor line is unsurpassed in the industry. Sophisticated, technology-based development and assessment processes drive Honeywell's sensors to exceed industry standards for quality performance. Avaiable in wireless and wired, these are perfect for securing doors, windows, and any other entry types.

Hold Up Switches V-Plex

Honeywell’s series of hold-up devices have been designed for silent operation. Available in a stainless steel cover or hardwired, V-Plex® and wireless versions, they mount quickly and easily in discreet locations. They are ideally suited for use in locations such as banks, jewelry stores, retail establishments or any situation that requires hold-up notification.

Shock Detectors SC105

Honeywell’s SC100 Series Seismic Vibration Sensors were designed to protect high-value and high-risk assets in financial, retail and other applications.

The SC105 was designed to safeguard freestanding objects like standalone ATMs, gun cases, file cabinets, vending and ticket machines and more. The SC105 can be installed in new or existing security systems and offer a higher level of protection and false alarm immunity than traditional shock sensors, which often lack the ability to discriminate between ambient vibration and real attacks.

Water Level Detectors Commercial / Residential System

Use the Water Alarm to detect leaks before costly water damage is caused. This alarm can detect as little as 1/32 in. of water and produces an immediate signal to provide an effective early warning system. A convenient battery-saver feature only uses energy when the contact detects water to offer a long battery life.

Photoelectric Beams IntelliBeam

Honeywell’s IntelliBeam sensors combine all the great features of high-end photobeams in a cost-effective dual detector, offering the ultimate protection at an incredible value. Available in single and dual models, there’s an IntelliBeam to suit any application.
